One foot in front of the other...
Jun. 13th, 2016 09:10 pmSome reshuffling (as far as I can see) on the part of a client changed all my plans for the day, but in the end, I managed almost 3,000 source words of translation, with 1,000 left to do, along with despeckling of the whole job by tomorrow COB.
That should be doable.
The day started as usual, pretty early, and I managed to get three things out the door before the start of business hours on the East Coast.
On days like today, I pretty much completely ignore my BulletJournal (to my detriment, no doubt), but I did manage to remember to call the researcher from last Wednesday, who got back to me, so at least there's some back-and-forth going on there.
(I purposely avoided the word "conversation" because increasingly, I feel it is used by people who believe it has the meaning of "keep your mouth shut and don't dare disagree with me." But don't get me started.)
And after that 1,000 words tomorrow? Still a pile of stuff to do. But first... rack drill!
Cheers...
