Over at the new place...
Aug. 30th, 2016 12:39 pmOf course, this really isn't the new place... he says, thinking back and realizing that it is actually the most recent place that he and Galina purchased, back when year numbers in the Western world started with"19."
It is after noon, and the two major to-do items of the day—make sure BlueCross gets its money by the end of the month and "supervising" the installation of DSL at the new place—have been taken care of (or will be, hopefully, in a few minutes, when the phone company guy fires up the modem.
Criminy, I feel as if I've kicked myself back a couple of decades, connectivity-wise.
I figure the phone guy will be here for another 20 minutes or so, after which I hope to get at least one of the three items left to despeckle open and in progress.
Tai chi later today, too.
Busy day.
