Chemically aided sleep...
Jan. 25th, 2017 11:44 pmI took a sleeping pill last night, and ended up in a "work nightmare," i.e., one in which I'm working to complete a translation. In recent years, I've been pretty good at identifying such nightmares, whereupon I mentally disengage and go on to other things.
Last night's version snuck by my defenses, and when I woke up—groggy—it took me some time to realize I'd been had. Upon reflection, it occurred to me that I did not mind so much doing all that "work" for nothing—it was straightforward and easy enough—as I did the grogginess upon waking up.
I've done my best to eat today, but there was no getting around sleeping after doing almost anything.
But tomorrow will be better. For sure.
