Up to 50K...

The memoir is up to 50,000 words or so, so I'm more than halfway through. I've combined a few items, but the average length of each story is just about two pages (the way I've formatted it). The page count (again, using my formatting) is about 110, so the final product (about 90,000) words ought to weigh in at around 200 pages.

I went out this afternoon to send an item to Drew, and along the way stopped to do some grocery shopping, pick up a couple of prescriptions, and browse the Barnes & Noble. When I stopped at the post office, it was just 4 pm, and I learned that the post office closes at that time.

Drat!

Well, at least I have something to do tomorrow morning. :)
