Moving from where we are now to the place in Webster is going to be a pretty hefty "downsizing," so I think I'm going to have to re-binge-watch a program called Tiny House Nation (I think), where people shoehorn themselves and their belongings into places that are pretty small. (In the first episode I watched, a couple with a toddler went from a 1350-square-foot house—which is about the size of the Webster house—to a 272-square-foot tiny house.)

Compared to that, the contraction faced by Galina and me is not that extreme, but it's still gonna hurt.

Now, to find the time to do it!

There are still translations on the plate.

Cheers...

Purging and sorting takes forever....I do not like that job, but I do like how it reenergizes a place. AW

I must have missed the part where you were thinking about moving house!

I'd seen the discussions of trying to sell another house-- unless you've decided to move into it?

I love watching Tiny House Nation, mainly for the clever storage and use of space. I could never live like that myself, but I can see it being an object lesson for paring down. :)

I'm slowly paring down our things, including selling or donating a lot of the kids's toys and things like early picture books that were not so fabulous I want them for future grandchildren. I.e., the Richard Scarry books stay but a lot of the rest goes.

If I were not hung up on getting these things to their proper places (sellable or donatable with receipts), this would go a lot faster...
