Winding down...

The day passed by rather quickly. Drew, Shannon, and Huntur went to Durango, which left me and Galina at the store.
The plus side to a slow day is not getting so tired.
We came home, had some wine and cheese for dinner, and watched K-PAX on PPV. I thought the film was well-written, and the story was pretty tight. In the end, no questions are really answered, though you'd have to be as catatonic as Kevin Spacey's character at the end of the film not to fill in the few remaining blanks.
Such films generally give a screenwriter carte blanche to go on and on about "you humans," by putting words in the mouths of his or her characters. Certainly, there is enough of that in this movie, but not too much, in my opinion, and what there is of it does not vector off on a tangent toward Lyra.
Just please, let there not be a K-PAX II.
Cheers...
