At 10 pages a day, such a project would provide job security - in theory - for one translator five and a half years (or nearly 8 years if said translator insisted on weekends and holidays off). In my experience, however, the end client would've wanted the whole thing back in what? three to four months? - so in the end nobody'd get to work for very long (careerwise) on this monster.
