A warranty is, basically, a guarantee (which - dontcha just love the English language? - does not stand in the same relation to the word "guaranty" as the two starring words of this post).
Therefore, a "warrantee registration" is not a registration of the guarantee, but of the person holding the guarantee.
We now return you to an improved world.
