Late finish...

alexpgpI've been pretty good the past few days, getting half of my planned production (2,000 source words) completed by noon or so. Today, after having gotten to that halfway point, I went with Galina to our fitness club, where we both felt a bit out of shape walking on the treadmills. Upon returning, we had a light lunch and I then took a nap for 2-1/2 hours that felt like a pretty sound sleep.
I then got to within about 500 words of my 4,000-source-word goal when Galina and I decided to go find a DVD for tonight and also get some groceries. We did both, though I wasn't terribly interested in the DVD we got (something with, yawn, Jennifer Anniston), so I've continued work on my translation, to where I now have just under 7,500 source words left.
Natalie says she'd be interested in catching a matinee tomorrow of 300, which is not an idea I am opposed to, but which means I should get up early and bag as many remaining words as I can before she comes by, to reduce any residual stress on my part thinking about deadlines tomorrow. For next week, I am currently scheduled for a three-hour ISS training class that, I'm told, is given rarely and is pretty hard to get into, along with a 6-hour simulation run on Thursday night.
Frankly, I will welcome a couple of light days, should they come to pass next week.
