alexpgpIt really doesn't matter that, technically, I ought to be fresh as a daisy, mentally speaking. I've spent the better part of an hour struggling with two words, only to conclude - after an exhaustive grammatical study of case endings - that my initial impression of what those words meant was absolutely, 100% what it should have been, and why, exactly, was I wasting time like this?
It's probably not as bad as all that; over the 50 minutes between word counts, I managed to translate just under 400 words. Overall, I've squandered the lead I built up yesterday, placing me just about exactly 67% of the way through the document (though there is that pesky secondary assignment to consider).
* * * In a desperate attempt to prove that there is something to my life other than work...
I find that I've allowed myself to wallow in my Facebook profile, which eventually led me to one of those sites - you known, the ones trying to sell you something using a page that's got about 800 screenfuls of repetitive information, all working up to a super offer with at least two levels of upsell attached to it.
(Sites like that fascinate me, but not because I am repelled by them, necessarily. Heck, there are times I wonder what it'd take to "join the club," so to speak!)
And having said that, it's apparent that my bedtime is long overdue!
