Oh, my, my!
Aug. 20th, 2007 09:49 pmIt turns out the "actual" source word count for today's installment of The Horror was nearly 3800 words (which expands to about 4700 target words).
If we add in the tax returns, we end up with a nice, tidy sum of words for the day, somewhere around 13,000 target words. (Although in truth, most of the words for the "master" tas return translation were done over the past few days, and some percentage of those were "recycled" for the next one).
Tomorrow's source count on the last - yes, the very last chunk of TH - is just about the same, though there are a far cry more segments consisting of one and two words (which, strangely enough, take more time to translate if you care about the quality of the end product).
I shall give this some thought as I examine the inside lining of my eyelids tonight.
One more thing to add to the list of things to do, workwise: incorporate the redlines Natalie did for me on the two returns already done.
Cheers...
