...and twice as lumpy!

Galina did mention the fact that she had arranged for an electrician to come to the house today and upgrade our service (I'm not sure, but I think the labels in the old fusebox were cuneiform impressions on some kind of clay or ceramic). She mentioned it several times, I believe.
I even noted it in my appointment book.
And promptly didn't take an extra three seconds to realize that during said upgrade, electricity to the house would be utterly and completely cut off. The batteries in webster could put off the inevitable for a little while if I ramped down the brightness of the screen, but without Internet connectivity... well, what's the point, right?
Fortunately, I had no immediate deadline, so somehow I managed to cope with it. More paperwork. Another two bins of shredded stuff out the door. Had this been an actual emergency, I would have hied my carcass and computer over to the library.
In between, I can't seem to stop yawning. Then again, I was awakened by Shiloh at 4:30 am.
Tomorrow, I must start on the outstanding assignment if I am to avoid those "last minute blues."
Cheers...
