There's been some progress in emptying out the office, enough so that I feel comfortable leaving for Houston tomorrow.

Galina, for some reason, was under the impression that my assignment had been cut by a week, rather than having slipped by a week, so she was surprised when she heard - for about the fourth time, I might add - that I would be back on the 31st.

I plan to get up early and take care of miscellany before I hit the road... apropos of which, I need to figure out when I need to leave in the next few minutes, and then hie myself to bed.
