Work overload...
Sep. 9th, 2008 07:18 pmIf I had any suspicions that clients had forgotten about me while I was out of the country, said suspicions have been blasted to smithereens over the past couple of days, leaving only a gently glowing hole in their place.
My work plate runneth over, with a vengeance.
What I've said "yes" to so far this month includes five hazard reports (one of which is due tomorrow morning), a 2,000 word newspaper article (due Friday), and about 26,000 words of environmental studies. If I can get through all of that by the end of next week, then I'll feel better about a prospective interpreting job in Ukraine during the last ten days of the month.
And we're not even mentioning stuff that I've said "no" to so far, as well as one opportunity that I don't want to let go of, involving telecons, but may not have much choice about, especially if I continue to flit around the landscape like a hummingbird on steroids.
This will involve some rescheduling of appointments, too, but that's far beyond my "scheduling horizon" right now.
Cheers...
