There are few things more... touching... than to receive a helpful 67-page "glossary" in which all of the Russian terms have been thoughtfully transliterated from Cyrillic to Latin characters, because - Providence knows - translators need to encounter as many obstacles as possible when looking stuff up.

* * *Spent about 30 minutes last night brainstorming a couple of ideas for the LJ Idol week 0 essay, which then turned into one of those "my cup runneth over" sessions, with ideas popping out all over the place. I still have no clear direction, but visibility has improved considerably.
