Preparation for travel...

alexpgpWe and the kids had breakfast at the Colorado Cafe this morning, and the food was quite good. It was just the thing to kick off a long day of driving.
Fall colors have begun to hit the high country, and I managed to catch just a hint of the magnificence on the other side of the Wolf Creek Pass.
We made our destination at around 5:30 pm, but pressed on to a store in the vicinity that sells "Russian" goods, things like pilmeni and tvorozhok. I picked up some home-made sauerkraut and some parmesan sausage that just hit the spot.
We'll be off tomorrow pretty early. It'd be a good idea to hit the sack about now.
