A pleasant surprise...

alexpgpI don't know why, but I spent most of the day thinking it was Thursday.
I was most pleasantly surprised to learn it was only Wednesday.
Galina and I went out for lunch to celebrate. (Not! At least, that wasn't the reason. ;^)
I'm trying out Quora, but having a hard time getting the site's pulse. It would appear people get to ask questions that either (a) can be answered with rudimentary search-engine-fu skills, (b) require a heck of a lot of research or long answers, or (c) are a little on the stupid side. Maybe it's the melding of the Q&A with social networking, I don't know.
Then again, I still don't quite "get" Twitter, either.
