One long haul...

I got something of a late start today, fidding around with side issues until after 9 am, and then more work showed up, putting me squarely behind the eight-ball.

So, there's not much to report other than the results of the day's work, amounting to very nearly 8,000 words. Part of what made this figure attainable was the fact that the Word document file I started the day with was echoed partially in the PowerPoint slide show I worked on until a few minutes ago.

Two major things came out of working on the PowerPoint file: (a) some of the statements made in the Word file contradict what is said in the PowerPoint file, and (b) my despeckling of the Word file could have been better.

I can't do much about (a), but I can do something about (b). Vigilance is the key! (That, and not pushing myself the way I did today.)
