It's amazing how temperature data changes over the years. One might almost suspect that recent temperature data has been "corrected" upward and older data has been "corrected" downward.
Which might explain why it's difficult-to-impossible to obtain raw data, even if you file a FOIA request.
In other news, the "settled science" that, in 2007, maintained "there is no correlation between solar activity and the strong warming during the past 40 years," appears to be undergoing a bit of revision since something has to be found—along with El Niño and volcanic eruptions—to explain why Earth's actual climate is failing to live up to climate model predictions of warming.
