When I got up about half and hour ago, the kids were already gone. Shannon and Huntur are on their way to California, to visit Shannon's folks for a week. God speed them on their way.

I'm seriously thinking of taking a quick shower and heading on "downtown" to the Riverside restaurant to join the local ham radio crowd for their weekly breakfast. It's nothing formal, just an opportunity to greet one another and chew the fat (and some breakfast).

But... if I am to go, I'm going to have to get moving.
