It was a day to finish moving loose odds and ends out of my old office and to move in the bedroom furniture that used to be in my current office and had been lining the walls around the second floor bathroom. Now, the resulting environment outside my office and in my old office looks a lot more "settled," but it also resulted in a lot of stuff getting piled, here and there, in my office.

Last weekend, I noticed that the "patio tomatoes" I bought and potted a few months ago (and which turned out to be a disappointment, as the total yield from two plants was three golf-ball sized tomatoes) appeared to be sprouting new leaves (was that ever a surprise!). Ever the optimist, I bought a four-pack of 4-inch high plants and today, after letting them get a little bigger these past few days while sheltered indoors (have I mentioned that it's been downright cold, lately?), today I transplanted them into a couple of more large pots.

Given the opportunity, I think I will trim back some of the bushes that have grown up along the side of the garage and see if I can't find a place where the pots can sit for hours in the sun on a permanent basis.
