Still some time left...

It's been a pretty good weekend, if only for the fact that my efforts to address the long-deadline item that has been hanging like an albatross around my neck finally got a good shot in the arm between yesterday and today, leaving me with just under 500 words to go in the 15,000-word first part. I may or may not take care of this tonight; I'm not at all sure it matters, in the long run.
On the other hand, when my iPhone started squealing at a little after 6 pm (a special notification tone indicating a message from my main client), I was a little concerned that I'd have to drop everything to take care of some high-priority document. Instead it was an inquiry as to my availability to do some on-site work next month. More later, maybe, but one thing is for sure: My theoretical need to "brush up my French" just took on a whole new practical twist.
As has my need to move my work files to the Asus and make sure the rather intricate structure of interlocking macros and folder hierarchies I've built on the Acer work in their own way on the Asus as well.
The everything that I might have had to drop was watching Guilt Trip with Galina, courtesy of a freebie from Redbox. There were some funny lines here and there, but frankly, I'm of the opinion the flick was worth the full price of the rental.
If I'm going to do something with those last 500 words or so, I should probably do it now.
Cheers...
