Into the fray...

After an active morning of translation, Galina and I went out around noon to take care of some errands, and ended up visiting a Hispanic grocery store in Webster, where I managed to conduct pretty much all of our business in Spanish (although admittedly, I was no chatterbox). We also had a caldo res, which didn't cost as much as the dish of the same name at the Mexican–Salvadoran place near Highway 3, but also wasn't as good, in my opinion.

Small steps, for now...
