This morning was an alarm clock kind of a morning, though I suspect it had more to do with the fact that it was cold in the house than with any feeling of unaddressed fatigue. Once I got up, everything went well, except that for some reason, I can't shake the feeling that it's Monday.

I got to JSC in time to visit the clinic before reporting for Execute Package duty. Unfortunately, the clinic was closed, so at least for today, I was stripped of the pleasure of demonstrating, by the baring of my forearm, that I was TB-free.

The documents came hot and heavy for a while up in the Ops Planning back room. At one point, we were puzzled as to why the Russian daily plan (a.k.a., the Form 24) would not open on machine A, while it appeared to open quite well on machine B (and would open in MS Word as well). It turned out that the HTML file received from Moscow stopped in the middle of a <FONT ... tag, which confused poor Netscape no end, but apparently was swallowed by MSIE without a whimper.

Eventually, the work was done, and now I'm home, filled with a quasi-Asian dinner and some sake. I still find it hard to believe that The X Files are on in less than an hour. Harder still, that the Fox network is planning to televise a show based on the exploits of Mulder's pals on the show, the The Lone Gunmen. Then again, who knows, it may turn out to be a viable show.

More later, as the sake wears off.

Cheers...
