Pedaling as fast as I can...
May. 6th, 2001 02:19 pmQuitting time for yesterday's support actually occurred this morning, at 1 am. Fortunately, I was able to get home fairly quickly and get into bed and get something resembling a reasonable amount of sleep before getting up and going right back to work.
In the splinters of time between active work, I'm outlining an article I'd been asked to write for the ATA's journal, The Chronicle. I don't know whether it's just not being able to devote my full concentration on the task, or what, but though I've a lot of ideas down on phosphor, not very many of them appeal to me right now. I feel as if it's going nowhere.
While that's not good, it's also not bad. Sometimes, the way to break through to the interesting stuff that's bubbling up and down in the back of your head is to wade through all of the insipid, boring shallows to where the water gets deep.
Cheers...
