Incredible trip...

I really have lost whatever fondness I ever had for long-distance driving. We left Houston at 7:30 am yesterday, directly into the teeth of the morning rush hour.

It was a precursor of things to come. In the end, we had a couple of close calls, and a night sky so clear you could see the patterns in the Milky Way, but we made it home anyway, just in time to... go open the store.

AAaarrgghhh!!
