Here we go again...

Today's tidbit:
САСШ - Северо-Американские Соединенные Штаты
[Translation (approximate): USNA - United States of North America]
The note goes on to clarify: "previously, USA."
Surely the result of someone's struggle with the fact that these "United States" are not the only brand of "United States" in the world (e.g., Brazil).
Unfortunately, we are also not the only brand of "United States" in North America, either (e.g., Mexico).
Then again, the chances of САСШ actually catching on are pretty slim.
