Sasha seems to be okay now, once we stopped feeding her this "organic" stuff that we'd been convinced to feed our dogs (I forget by whom). As soon as we got a can of Alpo beef down her throat, she settled right down in an hour or so, and has been okay since. I think I will continue to feed Sasha Alpo until I am convinced that the food is not a factor in her episodes.

The people selling the electronics pallets called yesterday to say they'd straightened everything out with the shipper. We should get the thing on Monday. <tone emotional-level="Ben Stein">I can't wait<tone>.

I have a mountain of translations to do. Got to get to them...

Cheers...

I fired up the eSlate and proceeded to coldly, calmly, rationally, delete PCMCIA support. This turns out to be a bad idea, considering that my network card is a PCMCIA card.

So, I reinstall the support, but doubtless, there's more to restoring the card than just that, as I now have no eth0. Wunnerful. Like I have time to spare to dig into my Linux docs. But, I suppose I'll have to, if I want to save the info on the machine (the alternative would be to copy it onto floppies... yuck!)

Did 20 pages of tables today. I've got 54 pages left. Nobody told me a due date, but I suspect it's Real Soon Now.

That'll teach me to try to multitask with only half a brain.

Cheers...
