Getting ready...

I've been up just over an hour, after having slept a sleep riddled with the tune of Alberta Bound. Serves me right <grin>.

I've spent much of the time since wakeup washing dishes. I don't know why. While I cannot lay claim to being the world's most compulsive dish-washer, I do eventually get down to business, which is more (much more) than can be said for the other members of this household (to be fair, Lee washed some dishes the other day, but neither Dwayne nor his friend have been seen engaged in anything even close).

Enough of that. In the end, maybe I figure if they don't wash 'em, they won't use 'em (yeah, right), or maybe I just feel a need to wash dishes.

The sun is coming up and I'm about 70% packed. I'm finding stuff in nooks that I'd like to take to Pagosa, if only to put them up on eBay. I better get to it.

If I let Lee sleep, she'll keep us here until noon. I'm going to Try Real Hard to get us out of here by 8:30 or 9. Lee can sleep in the car and I can drive the first leg.

Next stop, Pagosa Springs.
