Oct. 27th, 2002 05:11 pmThe second translation for S is done. I keyed in most of the numbers "blind" (i.e., by feel on the numeric keypad), so I'm going to have to take particular care when I check the text before sending it in.
It was a heck of a lot of work for about 5000 words, let me tell you. Lots of typos, and what made the typos all the more damaging was the fact I was translating lines in a table (i.e., word combinations and not sentences).
Still no luck trying to print the JPEGs, but then again, I really haven't applied myself.
* * * There was snow on the ground this morning, but it all melted by about noon. That did not deter Drew from going up on the mountain. I shall have to ask him how it was. I suspect the snow was wet up there, just as it was here.
Time to get ready for company.
