Whoa!

I was surprised to see that my post of (now) yesterday afternoon somehow got dated October 19, 2003. I've heard of time flying, but that's ridiculous!

After dinner, Natalie and I watched The Matrix, or more accurately: she watched while I attempted to edit the assignment due tomorrow morning. I was disappointed to find (and correct) a number of errors, mostly having to do with dates, but I think I caught them all. Not having a printer is the pits, as it's really hard to compare documents against one another (possibly, I should have checked my work while the data was in DejaVu).

I got several calls and ended up just now checking my home server for all sorts of files arriving in the mail. I have one assignment of 5 pages due Friday, and the client with the mad deadline for 25 pages of a 70-page standard wants me to finish the rest for next Monday (which would probably be doable, except I'm already occupied). Then finally, I have to coordinate getting a visa for - yep, you guessed it - Russia and Kazakhstan (except the gig is only for two weeks, which is long enough, considering the time of year).

So, upon posting this entry, I need to send off the item due tomorrow and then download all the items that I received. Then to bed until tomorrow morning, when all the fun starts all over again.

Cheers...

Updated from Starbucks...

But unfortunately, the Opera browser on the Zaurus does not permit pasting, so the post I cobbled together in the text editor will have to stay there, for now.

Cheers...

Outside... again!

After quitting the Starbucks in Webster, I drove home via the Hong Kong market, where I picked up some food and arrived home only a few minutes after Natalie. After dinner, she asked if I would be interested in driving with her to her Wing Chun class (mostly to provide an air-conditioned environment in my rental car).

What the heck? Why not?

So here I am, at another Starbucks, trying out the T-Mobile service up in the Galleria area.

Oh, that felt pathetic. And I can't use accented letters (at least not Unicoded ones).
