One by one, the tumblers line up...

I've translated the long end of the assignment and if I'm lucky, I'll get another piece of it done by late afternoon.

Bank accounts have been checked, I have a good feel for what checks need writing tomorrow. The tax paper chase requires some attention, but I think I can do that either tonight or tomorrow, and that it won't take much time. (Famous words, I know.)

I've got a telecon lined up for tomorrow at oh-dark-thirty, which should not be much of a problem, as long as I get up.

Time for lunch (actually, lunch is overdue).

Summarizing the day...

My work checkpoint has been reached. I've got less work scheduled for tomorrow than today, and less on Friday than tomorrow.

The area is expecting about 8 inches of snow tonight, so I made an extra push (or three) and shoved aside a couple of small mountains of stuff in the garage and parked the car there, for the express purpose of cleaning out the interior, rubbing the vinyl with some protectant, and so on.

Despite this gallant effort (I think it's the first time a car has inhabited the garage in longer than I care to remember), it's difficult to move around in there, it's cold, and there's not much light. It'd also be a good idea to find something with a little more "edge" to it than a cotton rag, like maybe an old toothbrush (none around when you need 'em). Maybe tomorrow, especially if nature carries through on the threat of snow.
