You know, about the last thing I want to see right now is a keyboard, and about the last thing I want to do is type. (So, what am I doing right now?)

Work at the client’s office today settled down to run-of-the mill aerospace translation, with the highlight of the day occurring when Boris R., who is a really nice guy and very knowledgeable about the project I'm assigned to, came by to chat about Wordfast, which is the TM product being used in the client's office. He showed me a couple of useful tips and tricks, which made my day, and almost made up for the incessant chattering that bothered me earlier.

I left upon completing the assigned translation, since my mind was pretty much fried and I had another 2000 words waiting for me at home (which have been laid to phosphor as I type this, though I think I'll do the review, etc. tomorrow morning). It started raining on the way home, which was no fun. The Civic's ventilation system can barely keep the windows from fogging, and if I had to be brutally honest, I think near the end it was a losing battle.

Time to take it easy. Rumor has it there are more translations lining up.

Cheers…
