A blue cast to the day...
Oct. 3rd, 2004 08:12 pmI'd been kind of avoiding the subject of Galina returning to Houston, but today, she left.
Drew came by a bit later in the day and we took off the top of the Civic's engine to take a look at the gasket. I was surprised at how easy it was: four nuts and presto! The gasket looked good, but the seals around the spark plugs were in pretty bad shape, so we replaced them and put the engine back together.
After moping around for another couple of hours, I realized there was little in the house to eat, and that there was no place in town one could buy automotive parts today, so I drove over to Durango to shop and to take a look at how the Civic is performing.
Everything went swimmingly; I even had a chance to eat at the Mongolian BBQ place.
My mood is still cranky.
Cheers...
