The bird has arrived...
Jul. 10th, 2005 02:42 pmThe satellite has arrived (two hours early) and most of the crew is out at the airport, broiling in the heat of the afternoon sun, engaged in offloading the containers onto a consist of railcars. Sergei Z. and I are at the полтинник, where I am slated to help troubleshoot the installation of a 64K modem in the control room in a few minutes.
In other news, I shot the following image in Moscow while visiting my sister-in-law, who shares her apartment with her daughter Olga, who in turn owns Dasha.
Dasha is a gentle and aging pit bull who calls my sister-in-law's apartment home. Here, she rests on the bed and seems to be wondering what I am doing.
