Depressed but translating...
Nov. 21st, 2005 07:42 pmAfter helping open the store this morning, I went back home and started translating. As of this moment, I still have 500 or so words left for my daily "nut," though I'd like to get as far ahead of where I plan to be as possible, so as to reduce any possible stress during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Owing to the angle of the winter sun in the afternoon, the temperature of the next room climbed so as to aid in raising the temperature of my desktop CPU to about 74°F, which appears to be enough to cause it to hang the system. I came back from closing the store at 6:20 pm and a process that I'd started to convert some video had hung early on in the game.
I decided not to buy any vittles at the City Market, preferring instead to draw upon the residual stores you'll find in virtually any household (rice, pasta, canned vegetables, and so on). I'm not in any particular mood to cook, or to eat out for that matter, although I am finding it difficult to abstain from eating on Tuesdays (we'll give tomorrow our best shot).
Cheers...
