Connectivity is a fine thing, beating posts by phone every day of the week.
Apropos of which: Yesterday, after the move from the old apartment (about 100 yards away) was all over but for the shouting, Natalie found that neither of the two phone jacks in her room worked (though the jack in her roommate's room did). So, I joined Natalie in a quick run to buy a 50-foot phone extension cord at Best Buy (ugh!, but one does what one must at nearly 9 pm to scratch a WOW itch).
It has been an interesting few days since leaving Pagosa, and I hope to sit down and go into some suitable detail at some point, before the details of those days are overcome by events. Galina and I are just freshly up (she, from Natalie's bed; moi from a recliner that I moved into the kitchen for the night) and need to figure out our game plan for the rest of the time we're in Houston. Staying at the new apartment would probably not be the best alternative for the new occupants of same.
