Been busy...
Jan. 20th, 2006 09:27 amGalina couldn't sleep well last night, due to a combination of factors, including my snoring. As I am on the receiving end of such acoustic distress from time to time myself, I can hardly blame the woman for nearly pushing me off the bed in the middle of the night.
We got up as we did yesterday, and while I went downstairs to get coffee and butter a couple of bagels, Galina got ready for the day. I fired up the VAIO and got down to the business of compiling the Q4 sales tax return for Colorado, which is due today. I managed to tweak the Excel macro developed the other day to pretty seamlessly address the issue of extracting sales figures, etc. from our daily spreadsheets, so most of my time was devoted to (re)learning how to enter text in an Adobe PDF file (the form in which I found the return on the Internet).
I think I will check over yesterday's translation and then send it off. Who knows? Maybe I'll go over to the client's office for a visit, too.
