A "day off"...
Feb. 25th, 2006 07:14 pmI spent the entire day in the store, after which it was off to the local rec center for a shower and a swim. I haven't been in over my head like that since visiting New York in October, and haven't been in a pool in much longer than that.
I managed to swim 5 laps, though not all at once. My arms felt it soon after coming home, so I took it easy. Besides still feeling a mite tired, I'm getting set to spend some time with Galina right now, so it looks like I'll have buckle down tomorrow to make my hard charge in the traslation department.
One of the standard bits of wisdom one gets when fixing problems related to programs that interact with MS Word is to delete the Normal.dot default template, which lets Word create a new one the next time you start it. I went back to check on the support web site and "delete" was the word used. I, unthinkingly, followed the instruction.
Do you know where Word stores all those macros I spent time writing?
Yep. In Normal.dot.
I'm just lucky I hadn't emptied my Recycle Bin recently.
Cheers...
