Hectic, wasn't it?
Feb. 24th, 2006 06:50 pmAs Drew spent last night in Durango, it fell to me to open the store after the ham breakfast, which went well. And the time at the store was spent without incident, until a client called to get my heart beating fast again.
In the end, I am in LJ friend
brenk's debt for looking over two files and providing some good pointers (though I don't recall having committed any real howlers). Fortunately, the second file had some definite similarities to the first, and I hope the trend continues. At any rate, that's two down and five to go, on that job.
Then there was the plea to spend a couple of hours editing a web site translation, which I couldn't really refuse.
All in all, for a while there, it was everything going on all at once (which definitely lacks that je ne sais quoiof "one thing after another," which has that nice chronological quality going for it).
Drew came home with Shannon this afternoon, which was very good news. She is still far from 100%, but hopefully the prescribed meds will do the trick and get her back on her feet soon.
Cheers...
