It was difficult for me to keep my focus today, but I still managed to get some work done. The inkjet is down, reporting a shortage of black ink. By the time it was clear I needed to print out some files, though, I just wasn't in the mood to bike to the store and back just for a dozen pages or so, especially since the wind had picked up.
A couple of times since starting to bicycle around the area, I've noticed how the wind around here tends to really affect one's speed. Blowing predominantly from the west, a breeze that's enough to keep a flag flapping is enough to force me to pedal along Highway 160 from North Pagosa Boulevard to Meadows, which is a gentle downhill run that nevertheless allows me to gather up a pretty good head of gravity-induced steam on the way home.
I will probably get up early tomorrow and bike to the store (and the grocery) and back, as there are two files I need to print out and translate for delivery on Tuesday morning, and a couple of groceries that I am in need of.
Cheers...
