Declared "holiday"...
May. 27th, 2006 10:03 pmI spent a restless night and got up at 5 am, which is an entirely unreasonable time for a Saturday. I noodled about, did a load of wash and ran the dishwasher, and then biked to the store around 9:30 am.
The day at the store was fairly slow, and I was able to print out the remaining files for translation (I somehow can't bring myself to spend another $60+ on ink for what seems to be a couple of hundred pages of printouts). I took off early, rolling back home at 1:30 pm, or so, with a dozen eggs in my backpack.
I simply was not able to sit down to work, and my desktop sort of cooperated by throwing an exception and displaying the Blue Screen of Death, whereupon I simply shut the machine off and continued to clean up around the house, with some emphasis on my office, in which I have been depositing various stuff and out of which I need to dispose of much of it.
I'm on the eve of two days during which I can probably get a lot of translation done, if I'm lucky.
