Just how much will a 5-pound bag hold?

It's Monday, and I'm at the space center, supporting the Russian Segment instructors. An hour or two ago, I was called and asked if I could take a night shift for an interpreter who is sick, and considering how I'll be shifting my internal clock soon enough - like, starting tomorrow - I agreed. Providence knows how skimpy September was, invoice-wise, so the extra work is appreciated.

I will have a 6-hour window after this job in which to pack and spend some time with Galina before returning to the MCC. By that time, everything will have to be ready to go. In whatever free time there is this afternoon, I shall have to give some thought to what items are going to be indispensable over the next six weeks.
