Smokin' Saturday...

It turns out the satellite link back to the States went out last night at around 8 pm, and seeing as how it's already the weekend back there, there is some question as to how fast the link can be restored. I borrowed someone's cell phone and local (Russian) phone card and managed to get hold of Verizon to cancel my Pagosa cell account, which is a good thing and puts two items on my to-buy-in-town list for tomorrow (adding time to my cell phone, and buying a phone card).

In other news, a client sent me a short item due early next week, which is a Good Thing™.

I've been fairly active today, but I suspect the action will quiet down this afternoon as folks start to work up their expectations for the trip to the Luna tonight. Then again, it may be that the work level will experience an uptick as folks make sure that letters are dotted and crossed before going out to play.
