The day went quickly...
Feb. 20th, 2007 08:01 pmThe highlight of the day was the visit to the office of the monument maker. One thing about my old man: he is very particular about how he wants things, and deviations from his specifications - all too common in this modern day and age when it seems most people only pretend to listen to what you want and how you want it - will elicit a response. Afterward, on the way home, we stopped at a Barnes & Noble, where I picked up a book for the old man's birthday, which is tomorrow.
Today was a day for invoicing, which is always a pleasant activity. For a few minutes, even, it turned out that I had forgotten to write one of the invoices that was supposed to have been written.
So, I'm marking time for now (though I have made some progress on the large item due Monday and a quick-turnaround job due tomorrow).
Cheers...
