What was the following 100% match (meaning that it is, in theory, an acceptable final product to include in a translation) supposed to say:
Achievedrological support at the facility must conform to the requirementsof Russian Federation standards and regulations.
In other news, I am 114 words away from completing the day's quota.

It's common to see movies where a lot of effort has gone into either an ingenious plot twist or into developing characters. Last night's movie, The Departed, actually did a good job in both departments, even if the level of violence made Pulp Fiction seem like an episode of Little House on the Prairie by comparison. In any event, it was interesting to see a movie with something more than one or two big-name stars.

This afternoon, after I had nailed my target bag of words for the day, Galina tried to lift my spirits by taking me to some place down the road named "Challenger 7 Park," but the entrance to the park really turned me off, as it took at least two signs to detail, in small letters, all the stuff that was prohibited in the park. We then passed by a McDonald's where I picked up Ridley Scott's A Good Year, starring Russell Crowe, from the Redbox vending machine.

I really liked the movie, to the point where I switched the language to French after having viewed it and started it back up again a couple of segments short of the end. Maybe it was the fact that the English version was still fresh in my mind, but it seemed to me the French was easy to understand, and I'm even thinking that some of the French dubbing isn't the same as the French that is heard in the English version of the movie!

At any rate, after having seen Rick Steves do his thing in Italy on yesterday's PBS and watching Russell Crowe this evening recall his childhood with his Uncle Henry in France, I'm beginning to feel a slight tug of wanderlust.

Still, there are 12,000 words (or thereabouts) left in the job due Monday, so I must keep my head about me, at least until then.

Cheers...
