The phone just keeps on ringin'!
Mar. 26th, 2007 12:38 pmThat, and the email keeps sprouting messages.
My best client offered me a third day of work at the MCC, and who am I to say no? If I had qualms about shelling out cash for a rental car for a week (instead of just 2 days), those qualms have been very nearly wasted with the increase to 3 days.
Another client wrote to ask if I could help out on a document for ASAP turnaround. I notice that it very much resembles a document I translated recently (it turned out to be a revision), and volunteered to take the job on myself. I managed to turn around a sizeable piece of work in less than 2 hours, thanks to my TM database.
The same client dropped another assignment in my lap, for mid-day Wednesday.
Galina called. Natalie called. I tried to call my bank in Pontarlier, as I suspect Friday's fax never made it, but received no joy (so I tried resending the fax, and although eFax is charging me for the pages, I got no confirmatory email, so I wonder...).
I need to take a short nap before the Enterprise people come by to pick me up.
Cheers...
