I'm not really a morning person, but loads of experience getting things done while others sleep in has sort of turned me into one. I got up relatively late this morning, at about 8 am, and proceeded to translate about half of the 2100 words left to do before other folks started stirring for breakfast. By 10:30 am, I had finished clearing the immediate portion of the plate, and decided I could put off the inevitable quality control step until tomorrow morning.

Eventually, we all got in the car and went for a drive into Manhattan, where I tried my best to show folks around. We came in over the upper deck of the 59th Street Bridge, went over to 5th Avenue and 63rd (64th?), left on 5th Avenue to 59th Street, right on 59th Street to Columbus Circle, around the circle and then right, down Broadway, through TImes Square, veering off onto 7th Avenue, down to the Village, to SoHo, to the financial district and the Battery.

And just because it's Sunday doens't mean you're going to find parking on the street. If anything, it means parking is even harder to find. We eventually did find a spot near Bloomingdale's, nor far from Chinatown and Little Italy, and just long enough to make a pit stop, after which we went back uptown, hung a right on Houston Street and then left onto 1st Ave, up to the 50s and over the 59th Street Bridge again, and then along Queens Boulevard to the Van Wyck, where I missed a turn and ended up going up to Flushing, where I turned onto Northern Boulevard and eventually got home.

Dinner was a pizza taken out from the Forest Pizzeria. Made fairly quickly and in a tasty manner, except that I forgot how much Natalie hates onions!

Natalie is currently in the kitchen making some kind of dessert. It's been a long day. I am tired.

Cheers...
