Was today really Monday?
Apr. 21st, 2008 10:36 pmIt sure didn't feel like it.
I spent most of the day either troubleshooting Galina's computer connection (she signed up for some continuing education classes that are required for her to stay current as a real estate agent), or working on trying to understand the underlying CSS behind the layout of my Tikiwiki, which I intend to use, eventually, for my "work" web site.
An example of something that's starting to look reasonable is an article I wrotea couple of three years ago for Russian Life magazine.
I'm committed to helping someone out on Wednesday with a trip into The City in time to make a really early appointment at a midtown address. The smart thing to do would be to drive to the Junction Avenue stop on the #7 line and take the subway in; I think I'm through with actually taking the Ford into Manhattan unless there is a spectabulously good reason.
A short item came in a little while ago; it shouldn't take too long to process tomorrow. In any event, it's not as if there's any shortage of other stuff to do in the absence of translation work.
Cheers...
