Winding down...
Dec. 29th, 2008 05:44 pmI don't know if yesterday's post on resolutions is "good enough" to be recycled for this week's edition of the LJ Idol competition, where the subject is very nearly what I wrote about. I say that because I didn't sweat enough over the text, as I have recently taken to doing. (Then again, maybe it's all in my head.)
Today was a good day; I got a lot done, besides translations, though most of the day was spent at the computer, translating. As of about 20 minutes ago, I like to think I've wrapped up translations for the year. Everything is done, sent, and invoiced. In fact, in the next few minutes, I'm going to want to shut down all of my computers and spend some time with Galina, maybe even pop the champagne a couple of nights early.
That's because we'll be headed down to Albuquerque tomorrow morning, to fly Galina down to Houston to take care of some rental property problems that are out of our handyman's league, as well as some other stuff. That'll leave Shiloh and me here in Pagosa, where we will do the best that we can to catch up on any one of a gazillion things.
Cheers...
